Let's Thrive Together!

As you may have heard, HSMA was able to purchase the building at 107 N. River Street where the Food Pantry is currently located with the help of a loan from an anonymous donor early this Spring.  We are deeply grateful for this assistance and the confidence it shows in our service to the community and our constituents.

Phase I

  • Capital Campaign & Expanding Services

    In order to repay the loan and begin fitting the building out for expanded community services, HSMA has begun Phase I of the Community Resource Center Campaign.  Phase I has set a fundraising goal of $300,000.


    Phase I has already expanded community services to offer computer and printer access.

Phase II

  • Keep Growing Our Community

    Fundraising to redesign and refit the building to meet our expanded community offerings.


Phase III

  • Thriving Together!

    Ideas for this space include:

    • Commercial Kitchen
    •  Including a Hydroponic Garden
    • Food and Nutrition Classes and Workshops
    • Financial Planning, Budgeting, Job Search, and other support classes and workshops
    • Meeting Spaces
